Our Story

The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, has become

committed to service, achievement, leadership development, integrity and community engagement.

Members of our Chapter have been demonstrative of sustained community involvement for over 55

years. Our dedication to continuing a legacy of service to the Chicago Heights Community will serve this

elected administration in fostering relationships that transcend across various socioeconomic and racial

barriers.

The members of our Chapter will continue to make a positive impact in the community thorough

actionable outcomes that will be realized in our service towards the lives of the young men that we

mentor. We also believe in strong ethical moorings that will help us in finding better solutions in our

service to the community at large. My motto is, “No one can know everything, but everyone knows

something “and such is the very essence of the Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter of our Illustrious

Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Our Endeavors

In building upon excellence in exemplary service and achievement, we will continue to be men of

reputable character and focus on key components that will serve the Chapter’s achievements through a

high-level 3-point plan:

1. Infrastructure– Devise chapter standards that will sustain the operations and special projects of the Chapter through enhanced metrics, supporting a need for new virtual engagement.
2. Community Service– Conduct a needs assessment that is supportive of the new virtual learning platform, ensuring that our young scholars have the tools and support necessary for the school year.
3. Leadership Development– Identify emergent leaders within our Chapter and provide the appropriate transitional and succession plans for the overall betterment of the Chapter.

Conclusion

The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter will ensure that we will continue to be sensitive to the needs of the

Chicago Heights Community, welcoming the innovations and suggestions of elected officials in

connection with the members of our Chapter. As the 27 th Polemarch of our Chapter, I will uphold the

laurels of our esteemed brotherhood with high regard to service and commitment.
