The Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter was Chartered on October 23, 1965. The purpose of The Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter is to institute the vision of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated within the South Suburban Community of Chicago. The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter takes great pleasure in serving the Chicago Heights Community. The range of activities includes but is not limited to; Thanksgiving donations, the Adopt-a-School program, feeding families, providing college scholarships. Our Kappa League and Guide Right Program mentors young men between the age of 11 to 17. Members of The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter come from diverse professional backgrounds and experiences. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity believes in training for leadership. Each fraternal year, the members attend The Effy Peter’s Mini-Conference to strategically plan for the upcoming year. The retreat is named after our Past Polemarch – Effy Peters (Mini-Conference).
